In 1998, I wanted a motorcycle with better handling and more power. But I didn't want a supersport right away, as that would be quite a big step from a 1977 CB500F. So I decided to buy this Suzuki GSX600F.

Like many 600cc four-cylinders, it performs quite well when the revs are kept up high. The steering is quite nice when you're used to a 21 year old motorcycle ;-) I drove this motorcycle for a little more than a year and about 16000 km. I used it to commute to work for a while, for which it's a perfect motorcycle. It's quite comfortable, with the fairing giving quite some protection from wind and rain.

After I moved to live closer to my workplace, I didn't ride it to work anymore because it's just too close by (the engine would hardly have heated up by the time I got there). Then I decided this wasn't the ideal motorcycle for me anymore. I was pushing it hard most of the time, I wanted more!:-)

I never crashed this motorcycle, only dropped it once when the jiffy wasn't properly put down on a slightly sloped area. Because of the large amount of plastic, it resulted in some scratches on the plastic..
